One of the oldest, if not the oldest property in Maldon. Middlemiss predates the gold rush, recently rescued from dilapidation. Today a romantic and cosy couples only retreat.
Open the front door with is enormous old key, the cottage has an open plan , bedroom at one end and living room at the other. Poor old Miss Middlemiss never lived like this! Toes warmed in front of the fire that sink into Persian carpets.
The queen size bed is beautifully made with fine Egyptian linen.
The new kitchenette housed in the wooden extension at the rear, stocked with fine english china, a bar fridge and microwave. The cottage is nestled at the foot of ANZAC Hill a lovely walk to a scenic lookout over the town. Whilst the scene is worth it in itself, more so when you get back to the cottage to reward yourself in the enormous double spa. Please Note:
